All moved in, Valentines & Book 2/50

Does it feel like February is just zooming by??  Well it does for me.... As this past Sunday we are officially moved upstairs,  and I am all sorts of happy! I can't believe how much space we have! But I am completely and totally warn out from moving. Who would have thought just moving upstairs would be that tough... and who knew that you can accumulate so much junk in only 8 months of marriage!!! I have mainly spent this whole week going through everything and organizing and throwing away STUFF!! I am so thankful for my parents who came over every night last week to help us... We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family. If they hadn't come in and helped I think I would be a in a pile on the floor having a panic attack...maybe even a Kristen Bell sized meltdown! (thanks Larissa for sharing this to me).  BUT they did come and now our house is looking pretty and organized!

Valentines day was so great this year. It was the first one that David and I have celebrated as a hitched couple and it couldn't have been any better. We both worked until about 4 but planned to meet up at a local coffee house to drop off my car... then we headed down town to YESTERYEAR'S.... it is a brilliant antique store! My gift from Dave was to go shopping there and pick something out!..... He knows me SO WELL! and I will keep him forever! The store is HUGE and it closes at 5:30 so we didn't have much time... but I found a gem! Its and old wooden chair back that is missing the seat and they had added in old hooks to the base of it.... and its RED! And now is the newest addition to our bathroom!  The rest of our evening consisted of making dinner together and then we had "planned" to watch a movie but my husband being the BEST BEST BEST husband ever.... he started hooking up our washer and dryer and situation our new laundry room so it was functional!! it was the sweetest thing he could have ever done!... the only thing about the move that I didn't like Hated... YES HATED was the way the laundry room was/is set up. The washer and dryer have to be like a mile apart and there was nowhere to hang up clothes to dry.... Well David fixed that... and I Love him to death for it! It sounds like an uneventful evening but it meant the world to me that he cared enough to improve our laundry room!!!

Yesterday my parents came over again.... mainly because David is off with our churches high school youth group on a Ski Retreat.... and I hate being alone! I am currently at City Brew writing so I am not home alone.... but back to yesterday, my parents came over and helped me hang up curtains and organize our closets! LOVE them....

I am hoping that tomorrow comes fast and David gets home safe and sound.. because I miss him so much!....

Book 2/50:

So I am not sure I will make it to 50 in the year 2012 but I will keep reading and see where I am at then.... Today I read  "THE VOW" by Kim & Krickitt Carpenter. It has recently been made into a movie (based on the true events of the book). This is a beautiful story of what "for better & for worse" means when you make that vow on your wedding day... and its a TURE Story.. I am always a sucker for those. Anyway, it was a fast read and it was a good way to spend my day. I was encouraged by their story and all they went through! So I would say Read it!

OK i am going to go to bed :D have a great week friends
